Interchange Evening PDX: Humanizing Diversity

Diversity....what feelings arise when we hear this word? In the U.S., we have certain notions of what “diversity” means, framed by our history and experience. Outside the U.S., it means many things to different people and cultures.

Join us for an evening of intercultural learning as we expand our understanding of what diversity means. We will share stories and stretch our imaginations, and explore ways to embody a more enriching – and more humane – concept of diversity within our own organizations.

The Interchange Evening format is a format in a smaller group setting. It begins with a brief input by a subject matter specialist, followed by a lightly facilitated space to engage with these ideas in a highly interactive manner. Prior to and after these two core learning parts, networking time and light refreshments are available.

The venue is in Portland, OR (Foster/Lents), Bella's Italian Bakeery, 9119 SE Woodstock Blvd.
